St. Stimulus' Miracle at Wall Street

If there was ever a time when entire humanity relied on one word, it was 2000 years ago when Joseph prophesied the arrival of Messiah to relieve them of their pains and sins, the arrival of Jesus Christ. Today the word was Obama but soon eclipsed by an obscure word in the dictionary.

Well, my English teacher certainly missed the whole point and power of the word stimulus. When looked at the standard dictionary term it seems quite ordinary but then dot.com was extraordinary compound word (not even a word at all). But look Ms. Rosy whole world is waiting for him, he is far more popular than Britney Spears!

St Stimulus now carries all the burden of correcting the sins and pains of the world. For decades economists and printing bankers have lived without the fear of God or retribution from general public, and now when their game in nearly up (or so it seems) they have got St Stimulus to help them in their need. Can St Stimulus really help us and especially the poor US taxpayers (and getting poorer by the day)? We really hope he/she is able to help the dim-witted bankers to see the light of the day and teach them simple fact that if they keep inflating the balloon it will burst at one point (oh no, I am not talking of inflation here and certainly not the hyperinflation; just ask the kid on the beach)

So, what does St Stimulus carry in his goody bag. Hope he has lots of gifts for all. But unlike Dear Santa, St Stimulus may charge us later with a huge bill. Its a mystery what he is carrying in his bag but his list of do-gooders who will receive the gifts were leaked to international press by none other than Obama and his wily gang (beware St Stimulus, they will take away your credits). Its such a small list for such a huge bag and unfortunately our name doesn't seem to appear anywhere: and worse, we would have to carry the bag.

Come on, St Stimulus is very fair, look at what he is spending on just one city (below is a mail sent by so-called Saint's PR person, though it is unsure he is still on job or was fired):

Louisiana Senator, Mary Landrieu (D) is presently asking Congress (to recommend St Stimulus) for 250 billion dollars to rebuild New Orleans .. Interesting number... what does it mean? (In one word, Saintly Generosity)

If you are one of the 484,674 residents of New Orleans (every man, woman, and child) you each get $516,528. Wow! see Donald Trump was right, you can be rich.

Don't get it? Ugh.. Ok lets simplify; Of 188,251 homes in New Orleans, each will get $1,329,787.

Or still easier way, a family of four will get $2,066,012. Hurray New Orleans citizens you get to be millionaires on St Stimulus day.

{whisper/fine print} But there is just one problem, you have to repay him for his generosity over time.

Did I hear Bonded labour? Yes, it is unofficially a hand-to-mouth to fill the inflating currencies by cutting down on unwanted needs at first and then essentials...

Let us just hope St Stimulus will leave the house better than when he entered it, the same goes for Obama as well.

How-to overcome sendentary lifestyle.

Some interesting points on overcoming sedentary lifestyle. There are many other routine ones, just try googling that. 1. Some not so routine tips on avoiding the sedentary lifestyle 2. Walking while talking on phone is a good way to get expressive and burn calories too. 3. Don't use the phone to call someone a short walking distance away. Walk and visit whenever possible. Same for grocery shopping. 4. Catch a different bus that makes you walk a bit more. You can catch a bus from a different stop, a little farther from your regular stop. 5. Net Neutrality - Fight for free expression

The "Net neutrality" issue, where we fear networks/infrastructure providers will decide (euphemism for censorship) what customers will read/watch/listen/buy on net. Many of the features that we fear in the "Net-neutrality" have already been implemented across various other platforms like telecom. For example, my telecom service provider has blocked the competitors GPRS sites and also does not allow access to many other sites on Internet, from where the free goodies like mobile applications, software, games, wallpapers, tones etc can be downloaded. This leaves me with the only service provider for above products, the service provider himself. This is totally blocking my freedom and my right to choose. This is just a glimpse; with "Net-neutrality" issues at stake are enormous. There should be no way; any entity (maybe, other than individual governments.) should be able to determine what is accessible and what is not. :) Falkor

Definition of Cult Stocks

From a blog: A classification describing stocks that have a sizable investor following, despite the fact that the underlying company has somewhat insignificant fundamentals. Typically, investors are initially attracted to the company's potential and accumulate positions in speculation that its potential will be fulfilled, providing the investors with a substantial payout. While most of these cult stocks promise they will be the next big story after they make a new discovery or get the newest contract from the government, most do not provide investors with anything other than the story. Furthermore, these stocks typically generate very little, if any, revenue at all. For example, many micro-cap biotech stocks are cult stocks. While they promise that they are going to be working on a miracle compound or drug, most of them do not have any source of income as they slowly burn away their initial capital in research and development. However, some cult stocks do occasionally make good on...
